Taxonomy Comments

Wood (2007: 149) created new genus and moved from Bothrosternina to Phloeosinina. In fact, it belongs in the Bothroternini. Wood (2007) also described this species as Bothrosternus rudis. It probably belongs in the genus Cnesinus.
