Xyleborus planicollis

This unusual species is possibly related to Xyleborus xylographus, which it resembles in declivital characters. The flattened, almost concave pronotum is similar to males of that species. It is possible that specimens of this ‘species’ are intersexes of xylographus.

Xyleborus perlongus

This species superficially resembles a species of Coptoborus because of the slightly tapered declivity, but the antenna is clearly that of Xyleborus.
