Bark and Ambrosia Beetles of the World

Schedl’s unique female holotype is pale yellowish brown with the declivity darker in color. Male specimens from Joaçaba are uniformly dark in color but characters of the declivity and pronutum match those if the holotype. A female from Telêmaco Borba is also dark and the frons matches that of the type.

This species was given the temporary working name of ‘CAHF1’. Identification was based on a paratype of gracilens Wood in SLW material at the USNM (2/15/2019)
