Taxonomy Comments

Wood (2007: 210) treated C. uniseriatus Schedl as a synonym. Smith & Cognato (210: 29) treated it as a synonym of C. opacicollis (Eggers). Although these latter authors cited Brazil as a locality, they cite no specimens and these records probably refer to opacicollis (uniseriatus).
