Taxonomy Comments
Wood's (2007) treatment of this species is very confusing. The major entry (2007:57) is cited as porteri Brethes 1922:434, but later (2007:60) refers to a possibly separate species as porteri Brethes 1925:202. For the second entry he states that no authentic material was available.
