Taxonomy Comments
Schedl (1936: 60) did not designate a holotype, simply stating: “types in the collections of Eggers and Schedl”. Anderson & Anderson (1971: 12) designated the specimen in the Eggers collection at the USNM as the lectotype. Consequently Schedl’s (1979: 87) designation of a “holotype” is invalid and unnecessary. Wood & Bright (1992: 828) mistakenly cited the Schedl designation.
